The SAQ Certified Software Tester program is the first and only internationally recognized standardized qualification scheme for software testers.
The qualification scheme is split into 3 level:
The Foundation level provides you with the basic knowledge about SW testing. You will learn the vocabulary and techniques to work as a tester. This training is for you if :
- you are a working as a software tester and you want to complement your practical experience with fundamental skills about testing,
- you are going to take over testing tasks and not yet having the fundamental skills
If you mastered the Foundation level and have practical experience of several years, then you should opt for the Advanced Level. It is divided into 3 modules which are certified separately.
The Expert level will help you specialize your knowledge in a specific area of testing, e.g. test process improvement. It is not available yet.
